The Hettinger Housing Authority recently celebrated a groundbreaking for two - four-unit townhouses using the Essential Function Bonds to finance the project. Dacotah Bank and Dakota Western Bank of Hettinger have equally shared in the purchase of the bonds.
Each unit will consist of 1 two bedroom, one car garage, 2 two bedroom with 2 car garage and 3 three bedroom with 2 car garage. This project will provide the needed housing in the community for retirees who are looking to see their home and move into this type housing. This in turn will then free up some homes for the younger residents.
