REAP Zone Funding Opportunities
Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
Since 1999, the REAP Zones have offered larger loan opportunities through their Revolving Loan Fund (RLF). The loans are designated for primary sector businesses located within the REAP Zones for the purposes of job creation or employee retention. The loans typically are “gap” lending programs to help applicants complete their loan package.
Micro-Loan Programs
The North Dakota REAP Zones created two micro-loan programs to provide small businesses located within the REAP Zones an opportunity to secure a small loan for business start-up costs, product development, licenses/patents/certifications, marketing plans, research and development and/or equipment purchases essential to the business. Each Zone has a program designed to meet the respective REAP Zones’ needs.
CONAC Capital Fund
The Center of North America Capital Fund (CONAC Fund) is a community development venture capital
Fund that provides early-stage and expansion-stage equity investment to promising businesses located
throughout North Dakota. The mission of the Fund is to retain investable capital in the region and to benefit the communities of the region by providing seed capital necessary to assist growing businesses and creating new jobs. All North Dakota businesses may participate with special emphasis towards businesses located within the two North Dakota REAP Zones.
