Pembina County Champion Community
Board Profiles

The Pembina County Champion Community Program is designed to expand economic activity within Pembina County that will allow the County's population to increase and its governments to be able to provide quality community facilities and services. The plan is to expand the economy by promoting and supporting the following:

  • Tourism
  • Funding for the Pembina County Job Development Authority
  • Agricultural Diversity such as swine and dairy production and alternative fuels
  • Wind Energy
  • Pond Irrigation
  • The development of industrial parks within the County
  • Continue to strive to attract a privately owned incarceration facility
