Investment Board : WELCOME

At the same time the REAP Zones were created the REAP Investment Board was established by the REAP/USDA Memorandum of Agreement to guide and oversea the formation and implementation of the two REAP Zones. This non-profit IRS 501 (c) 3 corporation assists by establishing and administering funding mechanisms, which can be used as an investment pool for market analysis, business plan development, project research, administration, and actual project implementation.

REAP Investment Fund, Inc. Awarded a $50,000 Grant
Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns today announced the award of $4.6 million in loan and grant funds to promote business development in eight states. An estimated 627 jobs will be created or saved. The funds are being provided through USDA Rural Development's Intermediary Relending and Rural Business Enterprise Grant programs.
