Our Vision is to build a community (region) with an
abundance of economic, social and cultural opportunities
for all by promoting community partnership, resource
stewardship and entrepreneurship.

The purpose of the Cavalier County Champion Community is to implement a long-term strategic plan to reverse out migration and foster the economic and community development of a geographical area in North Dakota consisting of Cavalier County; to assist and administer the opportunities and benefits associated with being designated a Champion Community targeting these 8 areas:

• Agriculture
• Business and economic development
• Education (Life long learning)
• Health care
• Housing
• Infrastructure
• Tourism
• Transportation
